In response to the racial reckoning that swept the country after the police killing of George Floyd in May of 2020, a handful of dedicated residents decided to “think globally, act locally.” The result was a series of essays about race, personal experiences, and societal norms. Meet contributors from Stories of Race in Elmhurst and ask questions about the book, their stories, and how they are working to change Elmhurst.
